COMENIUS TIMETABLE 2013-1015

September 2013                 Comenius Team will be established. Giving a small brief of information for the staff and the pupils about the project and the participating countries. Each school will create a short video about their school and it will be shared amongst the partners. Project logo competition; pupils of the participating classes design a logo. The pupils vote for the best logos. The two best logos of each school will be put on the web shown at the meeting. At the first meeting, we'll decide on winning project logo. This logo will be used on all documents of the projects.

September 2013                 Project website or blog  will be designed

October 2013                     Preparing videos of traditional customs for the other participants. Activities will start in each partner school.

5-6 November 2013           The first visit to The Czech Republic. All the partners will introduce themselves and their traditional customs shortly.They will choose their mirror country. All the four project countries will use the multi-dimentional mirrow to see all the partners in the mirrow at the same time. Increase the comenius profile by articles in local newspaper. website and exhibition at school.

November 2013                  Preparing a four-page-electronic booklet (which can be printed out in partner countries) about the festivals, ceremonies, traditional folk dances, traditional clothes, regional dish and traditional songs of the participant countries (ready by 29.11.). Activities with the students.

December 2013                  Provide to students to have a pen friend. Christmas-New Year greeting postcards (1/ a participating country) will be prepared and will be prepard and sent to the partners.

January 2014                      Students will take photographs about traditional customs in December and January (published by 15.1.).

February 2014                    The school newspaper about the project will be prepared.

10-13 March 2014              Preparation for activities during the meeting. Three hour language preparatory course for basic communication for the pupils and staff involved. The second visit to Finland. (Presentation of the host country with dramas, songs, dances, photos, videos and preparing meals.) Increase the school and Comenius profile by articles in local papers, website and exhibition at school.

April 2014                           Project team in the school will meet for exchanging feedback.

May-June 2014                   1. year final meeting, performance and seminary to the students, staff and parents.

June 2014                            Teachers from UK to Czech Rep.

6-8 October 2014               Preparation for activities during the meeting. Promotion of the second year of the project. The third visit to Italy. (Presentation of the host country with dramas, songs, dances, photos, videos and preparing meals.)  Increase the school and Comenius profile by articles in local papers, website and exhibition at school.                   

November 2014                  A hundred word online dictionary in four languages (including basic communication and traditional customs.) New Year calendar (by 1 December) will be made by every project country, photos will be taken in Comenius activities and it will be sent to the participants.                                                                                                         

December 2014                  Activities at school and Christmas cards will be sent to each Comenius                                                        partners.

     

January 2015                      Blogs, activities  and projects at schools will be saved on the project pages-

February 2015                      Record breakers - describe what your country is famous for. A section with 5 pages from each partner country  in the the school newspaper about the project will be published. The newspaper will be online and can be printed in each country.

May 2015                              Pupils will create a power point about the history of their country and share it with partner schools. It will be taken and presented in the UK meeting. Preparation for activities during the meeting. The fourth visit to the United Kingdom. (Presentation of the host country with dramas, songs, dances, photos, videos and preparing meals.) Increase the school and Comenius profile by articles in local newspaper, website and exhibition at school. Preparation of commemorative album to finalize the project.

COMENIUS-PROJEKTIOHJELMA 2013-2015

syyskuu 2013                       Lyhyt video koulusta muille osallistujakouluille. Tiivistelmä oppilaille projektista ja osallistujamaista. Nettisivut tai blogi, logokilpailu

lokakuu 2013                        Video perinteisistä tavoista osallistujamaihin. Projektin toiminnot kussakin koulussa käynnistyvät, artikkeleita paikallislehtiin, nettisivu ja näyttely koulussa.

marraskuu 2013                  Nelisivuinen kirjanen nettiversiona juhlista, kulttuuritapahtumista, kansallispuvuista, kansantansseista, ruoista ja kansanlauluista. 29.11 mennessä. Uuden logon käyttö sivuilla alkaa. Aktiviteetit oppilaiden kanssa.

joulukuu 2013                      Joulukortti tehdään (A4) ja lähetetään kumppanuuskouluille postissa. Kirjeenvaihtoystävä kumppanuuskoulusta mahdollistetaan. Artikkeleita paikallislehtiin, nettisivu ja näyttely koulussa. aktiviteetit oppilaiden kanssa.

tammikuu 2014                   Valokuvia perinteistä vuodenvaihteessa: Itsenäisyyspäiväjuhla, Lucia-juhla, joulujuhla  lähetetään 15.1 mennessä kouluille.

helmikuu 2014                     Koulun lehden tekeminen projektista alkaa.

maaliskuu 2014                   Toinen projektikokous Suomessa 10 -13.3.2014. Isäntäkoulun esittely, tavat, juhlat, tanssit ym. perinteet. Artikkeleita paikallislehtiin ja julkisuutta sekä nettisivu ja näyttely koulussa.

huhtikuu 2014                     Kirjeenvaihto eri koulujen oppilaiden välillä jatkuu.

toukokuu                              Seminaari, esitys ja projektitiimien arviointikokoukset kussakin osallistuvassa maassa Projektin kirjallinen väliarviointi lähetetään rahoittajalle (CIMO). Artikkeleita paikallislehtiin, nettisivu ja näyttely koulussa.

lokakuu 2014                       Kolmas projektikokous Italiassa 6-8 lokakuuta 2014. Iso festivaali 
                                               (Santa Vitalis)  Sardiniassa. Isäntämaan esittäytyminen, draamaa, tanssia, valokuvia, videoita, ruokakulttuuria. Artikkeleita paikallislehtiin, nettisivu ja näyttely koulussa.

marraskuu 2014                  Sadan sanan sanakirja neljällä kielellä sisältäen perussanaston ja lisäksi sanastoa  perinteisistä tavoista. Mallina Rowandalen koulun tekemä englanninkielinen lehti.  
                                                Vuoden 2015 kalenteri (kuvat Comenius projektin aiheista)  tehdään ja lähetetään kuhunkin projektimaahan sekä aktiviteetteja kouluissa. Valmiina 1.12.2014. Kalenteria voidaan myydä ja/ tai antaa lahjaksi.

joulukuu 2014                     Aktiviteetteja kouluissa. Joulukortit lähetetään partnerimaihin.

tammikuu 2015                 Blogin kirjoittamista ja projektiin liittyviä aktiviteetteja koulussa.  

helmikuu 2015                     Ennätysten esitteleminen: kuvaile, mistä maasi on kuuluisa. Kukin maa tekee 5 sivun esityksen koulun lehteen. (1 sivu esipuhetta, 4 sivua ennätyksiä.  Lehti sähköinen ja tulostettava versio. Sanomalehti julkaistaan.

maaliskuu 2015                    Aktiviteetteja kouluissa, chat, blogi, Skype, Facetime jne. Kirjeenvaihto jatkuu.

huhtikuu 2015                     Aktiviteetteja kouluissa ja ne liitetään blogiin.

toukokuu 2015                    Neljäs projektivierailu Pohjois-Irlantiin, Moiraan  11-13.5.2015. Isäntämaan esittely, tavat, perinteet, tanssit, laulut. Esitellään ennätykset yms. eli mistä oma maa on kuuluisa. Helmikuussa tehdyt esitykset mukaan matkalle.Samoin oman koulun esittely pidetään siellä. Lisäksi valmistellaan  yhdessä muistoalbumi projektista.
